Feed Acidifiers

As a feed additive:
Qilicid- Formulated low acid-banding-capacity piglet feed
Qilicid help to improve the piglet digestive function caused by incomplete digestion problems and improve the use of conventional feed to achieve the purpose of improving the growth performance of piglets.

Features:
1. It is not common feed acidifiers, is a pH buffer system combined by organic acid and organic Calcium.
2. containing low acid-binding –capacity calcium source reduces pH or acid binding capacity (ABC) in the final feed (lower pH 5.0 or ABC ≤25 ) and stomach (lower pH 4.0).
- Lower pH effectively inhibits the development of pathogenic bacteria.
- Lower pH in the stomach slows down the feed-throughput in the small intestine, which in turn increases the time for intestinal digestion.
- Lower pH stimulates activity of endogenous pepsin in the stomach and enzyme production in the intestines hence improves the digestion.
3. Higher feed intake and enhance the average daily gain, and reduce the cost.
4. Maintain the quality of feed (anti-oxidation and anti-mould).

Application:
1. 0.7% in corn-soybean meal piglet feed ( Calcium carbonate is not recommended as calcium sources).
2. Better effect can be taken if 0.6-1.0% mono-calcium phosphate added in feed at the same time.
